In Montevideo, he people who sort through the garbage dumpsters collecting things to recycle or do as they wish generally go around with a horse drawn cart (I don't know why don't upgrade their buggies and take tourists around).

In Florianopolis we notices that in the non-rural areas, the people had to lug the carts around themselves. I think they get quite a workout, especially in the heat of the Canasvieiras area.
